Steel building day with modular theme
“Clients and planners should consider the advantages of modular construction in their projects at an early stage. This results in the correct and efficient planning that makes everyone a winner with modular construction, which benefits both clients and tenants,” said Swedish Modules CEO Mats Stoltz at this year’s Stora Stålbyggnadsdagen steel construction open day arranged by the Swedish Institute of Steel Construction.
The event took place on 11–13 November at the Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre in Gothenburg. The seminar addressed topics such as the advantages of industrial construction. One case that was presented was the modular construction project HSB Living Lab (design and production by Swedish Modules) by Peter Elfstrand, Tengboms Arkitekter and Shea Hagy from Chalmers. Swedish Modules’ Mats Stoltz participated as an expert during the closing panel discussion.
