New business area for civilian healthcare preparedness and capabilities
MedicSolution has launched a new business area aimed at supporting the healthcare systems preparedness. The business area is based on MAX24, a new modular platform for ultra-mobile modules with the aim of strengthening healthcare capacity and capabilities in the event of crisis and war. MAX24 is a robust, flexible, and reliable modular platform, manufactured and stocked in Sweden. It is delivered when and where the need arises and can be transported by truck as well as by boat, train and plane. The MAX24 can be put into operation by one person. Simple logistics and short lead times are crucial when society is affected by serious events. Upon commissioning, the MAX24 expands into a fully equipped care unit that meets all the requirements to provide civilian care without compromise. The first version of MAX24 is offered as an operating theater and is equipped so that it is ready for surgery upon delivery and is completely self-sufficient
A robust and functioning civilian healthcare system in the event of crisis is a crucial part of building a resilient society. The new business area complements the modular concepts in healthcare and research that MedicSolution already offers. Thanks to a long experience in producing robust modules for temporary or permanent use to a highly demanding specification.
MedicSolutions CEO, Jens Sjödahl, believes that the new solutions based on the MAX24 module platform will contribute greatly to the upgrading of civilian healthcare preparedness and capabilities.
“MAX24 is a modular platform that offers ultra-mobile modules for strengthening civilian healthcare capabilities and preparedness. It can be completely self-sufficient and meets the same high standards as site-built care facilities. A capacity reserve for regional and or national use in, for example, serious events in society. At very short notice, the modules can be put into use and just as quickly moved if the need arises elsewhere.”
