MS Inside – integrated into the building
MedicSolution continues to develop MS Inside – a solution for hospitals’ most critical functions. Advanced healthcare environments are industrially produced in a controlled and quality‑assured factory environment and then integrated directly into the hospital building.
With MS Inside, production is moved from the construction site to the factory. Each healthcare room is built and equipped as a complete unit, with technical systems installed, tested and verified prior to delivery.
The solution is used for healthcare environments with particularly high requirements for hygiene, technology and operational reliability, such as operating theatres, intensive care units, sterile processing departments, diagnostic imaging environments, as well as laboratories and cleanrooms.
Parallel processes – shorter construction time and increased predictability
A key difference is the parallel working method: healthcare environments are produced in the factory while the hospital building is constructed on site – in contrast to traditional on‑site construction where the process takes place step by step. This means that important functions are completed earlier in the project and can be brought into operation sooner, while quality and predictability are strengthened.
In suitable projects, the construction timeline can be reduced by up to 40 per cent compared to traditional on‑site construction.
Reduced risk in the most critical parts of the project
By relocating the most complex parts of the construction process away from the construction site, the need for on‑site work and coordination is significantly reduced.
This results in:
