MAX24 Below 5 CFU on Average

NÄL (Norra Älvsborgs Länssjukhus) carried out a full-scale exercise together with MedicSolution and the ultra-mobile modular platform MAX24. During the exercise, two complete surgical scenarios were conducted on site using MAX24’s operating unit.

The first scenario simulated a situation in which the hospital needed to increase capacity in parallel with its regular operations. The second scenario simulated a disaster situation where the hospital’s normal functions were incapacitated.

During the exercise, NÄL performed CFU measurements to ensure a safe and approved surgical environment for civil healthcare. The CFU (Colony Forming Units) measurement for MAX24 showed an average value below 5, confirming an exceptionally high level of cleanliness inside the unit.

– The exercise with NÄL was highly valuable for us, and we are proud that external measurements demonstrate such strong results. The MAX24 unit used during the exercise is a prototype, and as we enter serial production, we will make additional refinements. This gives us full confidence that our ultra-mobile healthcare unit meets all requirements for civil healthcare, says Kenneth Helgesson, CTO at MedicSolution.
