Future Defence Discussions at Ideon
MedicSolution recently participated in a meeting at Ideon Science Park arranged within the framework of Amyna, where, among others, Swedish Minister for Defence Pål Jonson took part. The visit focused on the future of Swedish defence innovation and the increasingly important role that civilian technologies and dual-use solutions play in strengthening Europe’s security and resilience.
Development in this area is moving rapidly. Technologies such as artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, cybersecurity, sensors and advanced software are becoming increasingly important for both civilian and military applications. At the same time, a growing number of technology companies, startups and investors are showing interest in the defence and dual-use sector.
For MedicSolution, which has long been developing flexible and robust healthcare solutions with the potential to be used in both civilian and critical environments, this represents an important development. Through our participation in the Amyna programme, we have the opportunity to collaborate with other innovative companies, authorities and research organisations to help strengthen future preparedness and resilience.
