Swedish Modules appoints new CEO

On 1 March 2018 Måns Belfrage will take up the position of CEO at Swedish Modules i Emtunga AB. As a director of the board since January 2017, Måns has followed its progress at close quarters.

We on the Board are very satisfied with Måns now taking up the post of CEO of Swedish Modules.  His professionalism and experience in strategic business development, together with the solid expertise of our other employees, will take us to the next level.

Måns joins Swedish Modules from Swedish daily newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, where he started working as CFO in 2013. Over the past two years, he has also served as COO. Prior to this Måns was Group Controller at Addici (now acquired by Coor). He has also worked in the finance industry in Stockholm and London.

I’m very grateful to have been entrusted with the role of CEO in order to continue the development of Swedish Modules, and I’m really looking forward to meeting this challenge. I’ve been following the company over the past year in the capacity of a company director. We’re clearly active in exciting markets with considerable need for investment and expansion, especially in datacenters and healthcare.

Recruitment of a new CEO is yet another assertive move for Swedish Modules, which earlier in 2017 hired Roberto Söderhäll and Pär Åberg, both previously employed at Swegon and Coromatic. They bring with them valuable, extensive expertise from the datacenter market.

“There is extremely valuable expertise and experience among the workforce based at the Emtunga factory, where modules incorporating advanced technological content have been produced for some time. “Consequently, the management and I have a responsibility to manage this knowledge by continuing to grow the company in every dimension – product and business development and, of course, a strong presence on the market and with our customers,” Måns continues.

With Måns Belfrage taking the reins as CEO, Sven Lans, the company’s previous CEO, will take up the position of Site Manager at the factory in Emtunga.

Måns will be based in Stockholm where Swedish Modules is opening an office.
